Parameter Group Update

Parameter Group Properties

The following picture shows the Parameter Group Properties window. You can click on "hot spot" areas in the picture below to get detailed information about buttons, controls and fields.

	Name
	Shows the name of an existing Parameter Group. A Parameter Group is a set of parameters used by Operations, Steps and Jobs to replace values when the Executive Server processes the object.

	Description
	The description associated with the object name. This can be up to 64 characters in any combination used to describe the object.

	Parameters
	Lists all the Parameters in the SmartBatch database for the current Application Group. You can select Parameters to add to the Parameter Group list box by double-clicking on a Parameter or by clicking on a Parameter and using the arrow button.

	Parameters in this Parameter Group
	Lists all the Parameters in the Parameter Group. You can add and remove Parameters from the Parameter Group list by double-clicking on the Parameter or by using the right and left arrow buttons. You must have at least one Parameter in the Parameter Group to add or maintain the Parameter Group.

Adding Parameter Groups

To add a new list enter the name in this field, select the Parameters to add to the Parameter Group list box (if necessary, use the Parameter button to add new Parameters) and select the Add button to add the Parameter Group.

Updating Parameter Groups

To update a Parameter Group, modify the description or Parameter that exist in the Parameters in this Parameter Group list box. When you're finished, click the Apply button.

Deleting Parameter Groups

Parameter Groups are deleted on the Parameter Group list. To delete a Parameter Group, select the Parameter Group node in the tree view. Right-click on the Parameter Group to delete in the list view and select delete.
