Working With Schedules

Scheduling gives the user the ability to run Operations, Steps and Jobs on a scheduled basis. Scheduling can be set to run on specific dates, or on a recurring basis such as every Sunday or a specific day of the month. An object can also be configured to run on specific dates and not to run on specific dates to handle exception situations.

Scheduling on-demand

If the object is to be run only on a demand basis, scheduling need not be configured for the object. To run an object on-demand go to the objects list or update window (Operation, Step or Job), select the object you want to run, and click on the Execute button.

Adding and Updating Schedules

You add and update Schedules on the Schedule Properties window.

Clicking on the Schedule node in the tree view shows a list of Schedules for the current application in the right pane.  Right-click on a Schedule listed in the right pane to display available menu items.
