SmartAppLets: SmartAppLets are optional add-on application programs for SmartBatch³²(for both the Standard Edition and the Enterprise Edition). They assist you with a variety of functions such as scanning the NT Event Log or managing processes. SmartBatch³²combined with SmartAppLets provides a comprehensive automation solution to help you better manage your computer systems.; The following SmartAppLets are currently offered:

SmartEventLog	enables you to search the NT Event Log for key words and to generate an action based on its command line parameters. The action can be the creation of a notification event or a SmartBatch³²Operation, Step or Job can be executed on demand. The NT Event Log on the local system or on any NT system on your network can be searched. This allows you to centrally administer the NT Event Log from one machine.
SmartSendMail	sends SMTP email with attachments.
SmartRAS	gives you the capability to connect to remote computers via the NT/95 RAS capability. Once connected to a remote computer, the resources of the remote computer can be used as if connected to a network. SmartRAS provides a command line capability to connect to remote computers.
SmartProcessMonitor	helps you determine whether or not a process is running and gives you control to start or stop a process. It can also create notification events. If the process is running and you don't want it running you can specify a ProcessAction to stop the process or create a notification event. If a process is not running and you want to start it, SmartProcessMonitor will start the process.
SmartServiceMonitor	helps you determine whether or not a service is running and gives you control to manage the service. It can start, stop, pause or continue a service or it can create a notification event. You can control services using this program or create a notification event if a service is in a specific state. By specifying the computer you can monitor and control the state of any service on your network.
SmartNotify	allows you to notify an Alert List with a specified message. This can be used as an Operation or within your own scripts when you decide someone needs to be notified of an event. It can also be combined with a program like the NT Performance Monitor.
SmartSearchFile	gives you the ability to search any file for the existence or non-existence of specified strings. A notification event is generated indicating whether or not the keywords were found.
SmartShutdown	logs off, shuts down, or restarts a Windows NT or 95 system.
SmartReplace*	allows you to replace specified strings in a file with other strings.
SmartWait*	enables you to specify a wait or delay period between Operations.
SmartDeleteLog*	deletes records from the SmartBatch³² Log.
SmartSetParameter*	enables you to change the value of a SmartBatch³² parameter.
